DOPAMINE August 2008 Writer Hunt Registration Now Open!
OK, before anything else, if anyone missed it, here is the list of preliminary information you need to know about DOPAMINE’s writer hunt this August 2008. As I mentioned before, interested applicants are required to register to participate. Only those who pre-registered will be considered for the open writer slots.
How to register for DOPAMINE’s August 2008 Writer Hunt:
- Put this in the Subject line of your email: “DOPAMINE Writer Hunt August 2008 [insert your pseudonym here]“
- In the body of your mail, include these information:
- Writer pseudonym:
- PoT Characters you’ll MOST likely write dream novels about:
- Address the email to: writerhunt@dopaminefics.com
Everyone who registers will get a reply containing the secret code they need to include in their final submissions.
Registration is NOW OPEN, right this minute, until 23:59 (GMT Timezone) of August 27, 2008 (Wednesday).
I decided to extend the registration since the 24th is a bit too near.
The scenario will STILL be posted on August 24, 2008. Submissions will be accepted starting 00:00 August 29 until 23:59 August 31, 2008.

Note: We require registration for two reasons:
- We need to know how many entries to expect so we could create a timeframe for the announcement of new writers.
- Once you register, you’ll be compelled to submit a story. Otherwise, some people could give up halfway.

I have a quick question, I’ve tried registering since I’m thinking about submitting something for your August writer hunt but I’m not exactly sure how to register on here.
I’ve tried clicking log in and see what it brings up and it brings up wordpress. I made an account there and everything and then tried signing in on the site and it keeps popping up as invalid username.
Am I registering completely wrong?

I tried leaving a comment on the scenario entry but they wont allow me so I’m asking here=/
I just wanted to ask if that scenario will become a dream generator in the future?^^; Cause although I said that being a guest writer will be more convenient for me, I still feel inspired to write a story after reading that scenario ._.
so i wanted to wait till the Writer Hunt is over first before writing the story to make sure that it does not clash with the stories of people who are participating ^^;
Yep. I’m planning to use the scenario as a free-for-all writing fest when the Hunt concludes. =)
