Always and Forever
Chapter One

“Eiji, my son, I have some news for you,” said Kikumaru-papa to his youngest child. Eiji was seventeen years old and hardly changed except in height. His two older brothers and two older sisters were out of the house starting their own families or at college. It was only his grandparents, parents, and him along with the different animals the family had. Eiji and his father were sitting at the kitchen table one morning during breakfast. “I found you a wife.” Eiji was eating while his father said that statement thus he began choking on his food. He hit himself in the chest to make the food go down. He breathed in and out.

“WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!”

“See I told you he have that reaction,” said Kikumaru-mama, entering the kitchen. She watched as her baby boy begins to hyperventilate.

“What did you do to the boy now,” asked Kikumaru-grandpapa, sighing.

“I found him a wife,” said Kikumaru-papa. Suddenly the grandfather and mother of Eiji started laughing as Eiji’s grandmother walked in wondering what the hell was wrong with her family.

“I thought we were going to let all our children pick who they marry,” said Kikumaru-mama, knowing that the girl her husband picked for their son would not be his type.

“Wait a minute Papa,” said Eiji, who stopped freaking out. “I’m only seventeen and I should not be thinking about marriage.”

“Of course I didn’t mean that you would get married tomorrow,” said Kikumaru-papa, rolling his eyes. “You’re going to meet her after school tomorrow.” Eiji sighed and thought to himself that his friends, especially Fuji were going to have a field day with this. He looked at the clock and jumped up. He was going to be late for morning tennis practice if he did not leave now.

“I’ll see you later,” said Eiji, running out the door. “Bye!”

“So, dear, when were you going to tell me about this girl you found for Eiji,” asked Kikumaru-grandma, when she knew that Eiji was out of ear shot and in a not so happy voice. Kikumaru’s father knew that he forgot to do something…tell his mother (Eiji’s grandma). He was in for it now.

Meanwhile, our adorable little cat like tennis player was late for practice thus his captain Tezuka gave him laps to run. He cried the whole time. Oishi and Fuji being the best friends ever noticed that Eiji was a bit down than he normally is. Fuji just asked him what was wrong. He told them.

“Ne, Eiji-senpai are you not always complaining that the ‘god of love’ never looks in your direction.” Stated Ryoma, with a look that said he was enjoying the pain of his senpai too much.

“I want to meet her,” said Fuji, smiling.

“Kikumaru-san is sure rushing you,” said Oishi, sighing worriedly. Tezuka blinked once, while Inui was scribbling away in his notebook, and Momo was snickering. Kaidoh was just off hissing.

“Not helping,” whined Eiji. “What if she is like an evil girl or like Ryuuzaki-sensei? And what if she doesn’t like cute things? And what if she hates tennis? GAH, NO FAIR!”

“Don’t worry Eiji,” said Fuji. “It can’t be that bad. I’ll come with you to meet her. We’ll all come.” Eiji cried tears of joy. He had the best friends ever.

It was time for Eiji to meet his future wife. Eiji along with the whole team, yes even Tezuka, were sitting in the Kikumaru living room, along with Eiji’s older siblings snickering. Eiji’s grandparents and parents of course were there. Eiji was nervous right now. He just wished she would show up already. Then there was a knock at the door. The moment of truth was here.

“Yo,” said a tall man, around his mid-twenties. He had black hair and eyes. His sisters giggled at the fact that he was cute to them. “, come in here.”

“Yeah, yeah,” said the girl. She had also black hair and eyes. She wore a black shirt with jeans that had a hole in the knee. “Okay why the hell is the whole Seigaku Tennis Team here?”

“Ah you must be ,” said Kikumaru-mama.

“Yes, nice to meet you,” said , nodding. “Sorry our parents could not make it so Aniki is here instead.”

“Nice to see you again ,” said Kikumaru-papa.

“Likewise,” said .

“Now, -chan,” said Kikumaru-mama. “This is Eiji.” Faith stared at Eiji and he stared back. She looked familiar.

“Oi, Kikumaru Eiji is who I’m supposed to marry? Ain’t his fangirls gonna attack me,” asked to her brother. “Hey Tezuka-san I didn’t know you came either.” Tezuka just nodded.

“Nya, how do you know buchou,” asked Eiji, finally finding his voice. She went to his school; he probably saw her in the halls.

“Because she has been in his class since middle school,” said Inui.

“Right, right and I’m his lab partner in Chemistry,” said . “So Eiji if you’re going to be my husband we have to talk about a few things.”

,” reprimanded her brother, . just glared at her brother. just stared at his sister some more before she gave in.

“Alright,” said , rolling her eyes. “By the way Kikumaru-san, where will I be sleeping?” Eiji’s jaw dropped. What was this girl talking about? Was she going to be living in his house with his family? What was his father and his mother up to?
