Fuji was walking down the street to put some mail in the mail box at the corner when he spotted something interesting. leading Sengoku Kiyosumi of Yamabuki by the hand in a hurried manner. Fuji titled his head. What was she doing with him? Fuji thought that she liked him. Maybe Fuji was scary to her and that is why she was always nervous around him, but he did not know why but he thought he was quite handsome if you ask him. He dropped the letter in the mailbox and followed them close enough that he could hear the conversation. Luckily without his teammates here, no one noticed him.
“I knew you liked me, -chan,” said Sengoku, cheekily.
“Sengoku-san, you are a very nice person but I don’t like you like that,” said , sweat dropping.
“Of course you like tensai just one particular tensai as in Seigaku’s tensai Fuji Syuusuke,” teased Sengoku.
“No fair, everyone knows I like him,” said . “Anyway you better catch the train home or you’ll never be home on time for your curfew.”
“Are you sure I shouldn’t walk you home,” asked Sengoku.
“No I’ll be fine,” said . Sengoku departed. Fuji smiled and made his entrance.
“Then I shall be the one to bring the lady home,” said Fuji.
“Fuji-kun,” said , surprised.
“Now I know you like me but what were you doing with Sengoku,” asked Fuji, politely.
“We’re friends since Jin and Hunter are dating,” said , slowly, trying not to stutter. “And you know a-already t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-that I l-l-l-l-like you.” She hung her head, trying to talk to Fuji without a stutter was harder than it seemed.
“Ah, but you never ask me out like all the other girls that like me,” said Fuji.
“Cause you’re the unattainable tensai that only a goddess would be able to get,” said , bitterly and not stuttering for once. “And I’m definitely not a goddess, so I don’t mind that you know that I like you, I just never will ask you out because I know you will say no like to every other girl because right now tennis is your love. See you at school then.” She left him in her dust. Fuji mused that she should be on the track team.
‘The unattainable tensai, does everyone feel that way? -chan thinks that she is not a goddess but she underestimates her timid beauty. Saa, she is amusing that one is I think I’ll see where this takes me.’
