“Welcome home Syuusuke,” said Yumiko, to her little brother entering the room. “Yuuta is here…” But the tensai of Seigaku ignored her and Yuuta and went upstairs.
“Ah damn he’s in a bad mood,” grumbled Yuuta. Yes, Yuuta was right; Fuji Syuusuke was in a bad mood. Of course everyone knew when the tensai was in a bad mood because he was too quiet and actually broody. Fuji also tended to be more sadistic to everyone. Fuji’s two siblings just sighed and wondered what got him in that bad mood. Then there was a knock on the front door. Yumiko opened it to reveal , Fuji’s girlfriend of five months.
“Is Fuji-kun here,” asked , who has medium-length dark blue hair and eyes.
“Yes, and in a very bad mood,” said Yumiko. Yumiko studied for a minute. “Did you have something to do with him getting in a bad mood?” had a guilty look on her face.
“Can I just go talk to him,” asked . Yumiko smiled and let the younger girl in. She ran upstairs to Fuji’s room which the door was shut. breathed in and out. She opened the door to see Fuji sitting on the floor reading his favorite book “The Little Prince”. She knew that he knew she was standing there. sat in front of him as he read. “Fuji-kun, look at me.” Fuji pretended that she was not even there. narrowed her eyes. They were silent for about an hour. “You are acting like a five year old who did not get there way.” Fuji finally put down the book.
“Oh , dear when did you get here,” asked Fuji, innocently.
“An hour ago,” said , blankly. “Now are you going to pay attention to me?” Fuji did not respond. “I am sorry that I forgot that today was Valentines’ Day, really. It’s just that Faith and I were out with the band. I really was going to make you some chocolate and a pie but I forgot.”
“What does that say to me, my dear,” asked Fuji.
“I know, I know, but I swear we can spend the whole day together tomorrow,” said . “I’ll even make you lunch and we’ll do what you want.”
“Whatever I want, my dear forgetful girlfriend,” said Fuji.
“That’s not fair Fuji-kun,” said . Fuji smiled. “Syuusuke, don’t jerk me around. I know you are up to something to get back at me for forgetting Valentines.” Fuji’s smile faltered. Now he was angering his girlfriend because she barely called him Syuusuke.
“I’ll pick you up at 8 tomorrow morning,” said Fuji. nodded. The following day, Fuji got from her house and did so in a way to avoid ’s crazy parents. Fuji already decided that he wanted to go to the park. They walked hand-in-hand to the park. They sat on one of the park benches.
“Here’s my gift for you,” said , handing him a bag. She made him chocolate, raspberry pie, and wasabi sushi.
“Thank you my dear,” said Fuji.
“Do you feel better now,” asked .
“Just a little bit,” said Fuji. sighed.
“Now what does my tensai boyfriend want,” asked .
“Follow me,” said Fuji. thus was dragged off to another part of the park where concerts are usually held. “Sing me a song.”
“Are you serious,” asked .
“Indeed,” answered Fuji. “Any song you can think of you may sing.” put her head down in defeat and began singing ‘Read My Mind’ by the Killers. Halfway through the song Fuji interrupted. “Dear , look at me.” She looked up.
“Fuji-kun,” asked .
“You know I love you ,” said Fuji. nodded. “So you must thank Faith-san for me.”
“Huh,” asked .
“She distracted you so you would forget about Valentines’ Day. I faked mad and got you to agree to spend today with me. This is our special day,” said Fuji, smiling.
“You are the sweetest jerk of a tensai you know that,” said , pouting. “I thought you were really mad at me.” Fuji opened his eyes and truly smiled at her. He hugged her; and just sighed happily.
“Maybe I should become an actor,” said Fuji.
“Stick to tennis, Syuusuke,” muttered . Fuji laughed lightly.
“So my dear will you dance with me,” asked Fuji.
“Of course my loveable tensai,” said . They danced with no music, ignoring everything around them. Of course Fuji realized that they were being watched by his teammates, Eiji and Momo, and Faith.
“So cute,” giggled Faith. “Well, boys come on let’s leave them alone.”
“But Faith-chan,” whined Eiji.
“Faith-senpai is right we should leave them alone,” said Momo.
“Nya, you just want to get something to eat,” said Eiji. Fuji smiled gently at and kissed her on the lips lightly.
“And I expect you to spend the day after White Day with me,” said .
“Yes, anything for you,” said Fuji.
