Fuji Syuusuke never thought he ever be so fascinated with a picture before or rather the person in the picture. He was twenty seven years old and a professional photographer. He was invited to an art exhibit where one of his works is on display. He walked around and found this picture, in black and white, of a woman wrapped in sheets sleeping, not knowing her picture was being taken. Honestly Fuji thought the photographer took a picture of goddess.
“You like it, huh,” asked a person. It was a man, around his age.
“It’s one of the best I’ve seen,” stated Fuji.
“Thanks, I took it,” said the man. “Name’s Samuel and you’re Fuji Syuusuke, right?”
“Yes, nice to meet you Samuel-san,” said Fuji.
“She’s a beautiful one isn’t she,” said Samuel.
“Yes,” said Fuji.
“I think you like her more than you do the picture, but she has that affect on people,” said Samuel, amused. “She had that affect on me when I met her too, eventually I married her. This was taken about five years ago.”
“You’re a lucky man.”
“Not anymore, we’re divorced but we still are great friends. We act more like brother and sister now anyway,” said Samuel, ruefully.
“Doesn’t sound like you are over her yet,” said Fuji.
“I’m working on it,” said Samuel. “I can show you other pictures of her, but I don’t think she will like that much.”
“No, no I wouldn’t,” said a woman, the same one from the picture. “My name is .”
“Nice to meet you,” said Fuji, smiling.
“Likewise,” stated . Samuel disappeared and the two talked for a long time. Fuji wound up asking her out and she accepted. After their first date, there was another and another and so on for the next year. Fuji found himself in love with but there was one major problem—no not Samuel who is a very understanding guy, but and Samuel’s son, . He wanted to ask to marry him and he already asked her parents and Samuel but he knew that she would not accept if her son did not approve. After all Fuji would be her son’s stepfather.
“Ah, -kun,” asked Fuji, one night waiting for to get ready for their date that night.
“What,” the blue-eyed, black-haired Ronin asked, rather irritably. did not like him.
“I want to ask your Mom to marry me.”
“Haha, no,” said . “I don’t want you, girly man, to be my step-father.” Fuji sighed.
“I love her, though,” said Fuji; he thought how amusing it was that he was telling a six year old boy his feelings.
“My father loved her too, but they’re not together anymore. I don’t want you to hurt her,” said .
“I won’t,” said Fuji.
“I don’t trust you.”
“And you know your mother loves me too, so please can I ask her.” Fuji looked at the child deep in thought.
“Fine, but I’m watching you, girly man,” said . Fuji laughed good-naturedly as came out of her room, raising an eyebrow.
“Syuusuke, please tell me you did not just ask my son permission to marry me,” said , amused.
“Then I won’t tell you.”
“By the way, I want a baby brother out of this,” said , suddenly. Fuji started to laugh as hit her head with her hand.
