Hyotei Gakuen was a very prestigious high school. Rich kids attended the school; very rarely can a commoner be found. The academic rating was high; as rich as the kids were they worked for their grades. Other then that everything was ordinary, not a single thing misplaced or disturbed. Except in third year class 3-A, there was a new student.

Ready…

"-san?"

quickly turned her head towards the voice that disturbed her silent thoughts.

"Hai?" she spoke softly.

"Introduce yourself to the class, and tell us a little about yourself, kudasai." The teacher asked kindly.

turned her head towards the student filled classroom as a tint of pink painted itself on her face. She quickly bowed in apology before speaking.

"Watashi wa desu. I am transferring from Fukuoka. I'm 17 years old, like most of you. My favourite colour would have to be…

put a finger to her lips as her face held a thoughtful look.

"…green, and my worst subject is math. As you have probably noticed, I day dream a lot and get lost in thought, so please take care of me!"

bowed once more and smiled kindly to the class to receive some smiles in return.

"-san, please take a seat next to Atobe-kun." The teacher pointed to a handsome boy towards the back.

'Sugoi, so handsome!' thought Mizu.

walked up to the desk in front of the handsome young man giving him a kind smile.

Atobe smirked. The new girl was pretty. However, Atobe knew she would be like any other girl, only liking him for his wealth, power, and looks.

Never for being just him.

"Arn~, you are lucky to have Ore-sama near you presence." He stated cockily.

Suddenly the new student's facial expression changed. Her bright green eyes turned a little darker as her eyes narrowed.

"Ore-sama?" she spat out rudely.

His smirk disappeared and he glared at the girl for talking to him in such a way. Before Atobe could speak her black hair was seen as she turned around to face the front of the class and took her seat.

"Che, nobody insults Ore-sama in such a way." He spat under his breath.

Ready steady can't hold me back…

Screams were heard throughout the Hyotei tennis courts. Just like Hyotei Junior High, Hyotei High School was popular for its strength in tennis. Atobe, like the rest of his Regular team from Junior High still practiced their tennis; it was as if nothing had changed, except their ages.

However, once again, something in Hyotei was misplaced. The screams were not coming from the regular's court. In fact, the regular's court was nearly void from fans.

"Arn~, what is this? No fan girls?" questioned Atobe.

"It's that new girl again. She seems to be causing a ruckus in the girl's courts." Oshitari stated appearing behind Atobe.

"You tensai really do know everything that is going on don't you?" Atobe frowned.

Atobe's comment was not answered as the regulars began heading to the girls courts to see if Oshitari, was indeed, right.

The regulars easily made their way through the front of the crowd as students made way for them.

"-san has a good pair of legs ne?" Oshitari smirked at the girl who had stolen away the attention they were so used to receiving.

"Shut up your pervert." Atobe said irritably as he glared at 's figure.

Atobe had to admit, only to himself, that she was indeed talented in tennis. However, it was nothing compare to Ore-sama.

"Sugoi! She's so kakkoii!" Jirou bounced up and down watching as the tennis match continued.

"Six games to four! is the winner!" a loud voice suddenly boomed.

The crowd went mad. Some cried in disbelief, other cheered on as loud as they could. It was then that the regulars noticed who 's opponent was.

"Choutarou!?" the regulars screamed in unison.

"What is the meaning of this?" Atobe's voice suddenly caused silence within the courts.

"I permitted this match Atobe, as a matter of fact, I requested it."

The regulars turned to look at Sakaki-sensei.

"Arn~, why is that sensei?" Atobe asked lowering his voice in respect.

ran up to Sakaki ignoring the looks she got from the regulars and bowed.

"Thanks Otooji! You were right; they have some good players in this school!"

"OTOOJIIIIII~eh!?" voiced the regulars, once again, in unison.

", go get changed." Sakaki said in a stern tone.

nodded towards the regulars with a smile before running towards her bag, only to leave their question un-answered as she made her way to the change rooms.

Atobe stared at the girls retreating figure in interest.

"Interesting, the new student is Sakaki-sensei's niece." Oshitari smirked.

Silence.

"Choutarou." Atobe called.

"Yes captain Atobe-senpai?" the older regular sweat dropped at his underclassman's respect.

"Run fifty laps as punishment."

The second year bowed before beginning his run.

"This girl, I won't let her shame my team again."

Atobe was their captain, and his word was final. It was safe to say the regulars were in for the practice of their life.

Ready steady give me good luck…

Steady…

"No." her voice was stern.

"And why will you not play a match against Ore-sama?" he questioned.

"Tennis is not really my thing. I only play when I feel like it." She answered dully.

"Arn~, are you sure you aren't just afraid to lose?"

glared at him.

"Get over yourself Ore-sama~!" she rolled her eyes at her last words.

Atobe glared at her.

"What was that you insolent girl!?" his voice rose.

"You think you're so damn great, you are just so full of yourself!" her voice rose.

"Well, I would have a reason to be full of myself! I am Ore-sama!" his voice rose once again.

"Well excuuuuuse~ me Ore-sama, but I could care less!" her voice rose once again.

Both teens found themselves in a heated glaring contest.

"Just because you have already been here for a whole semester, and just because your uncle is the tennis coach, don't you dare think you can hide from the wrath of Ore-sama!"

"Oh bite me you stupid cow who thinks he is so great and…

"Shut up!" he interrupted her.

"I will not shut up you ugly poop face! I hope you get hit by a--mnmnm!" her eyes shot open wide.

Their first kiss.

But as quickly as it came it ended.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU POOP FACE!?" she screamed in terror.

Atobe glared at her.

"I. Said. Shut. Up." And with that he turned around and left.

touched her lips as she found herself blushing.

"Atobe-baka that was my first kiss!" she screamed as super anime tears left her eyes.

Though she couldn't see, Atobe smirked.

Ready steady never look back…

The Hyotei regulars, along with found themselves face to face with the old Seigaku tennis regulars. They had broken up and went to different schools. Seigaku didn't have a high school division like Hyotei.

"Tezuka-kun~!" smiled before running up to the stoic young man, only to embrace him in a warm hug.

Atobe glared.

"Ah, -chan." Tezuka gave of a small smile, if it could even be considered a smile.

"And why would Tezuka be calling our -chan, -chan?" asked Gakuto.

"Nya~, -chan is ours!" claimed Kikumaru Eiji.

"Wanna fight about it,” asked the acrobatic player from Hyotei.

"Yame nasai!" pulled the two rivals apart.

"Arn~, ours? -chan obviously belongs to Ore-sama." Stated Atobe as if it was an everyday fact.

Suddenly all eyes were on him.

"Don't listen to Atobe-baka, the day I belong to him is the day I fall in love with him." broke the silence.

Atobe smirked.

"Arn~, but is in love with Ore-sama is she not? So she belongs to me."

glared before she scoffed.

"In your dreams." She bluntly retorted.

Atobe just smirked as the girl kindly said her farewells to the Seigaku regulars and began to make her way home.

"Arn~, Ore-sama shall grace -chan with his presence by walking her home."

Atobe's word was final, it always was.

The group of teenage boys continued to stare in disbelief at the empty spot that once held Atobe Keigo.

Go…

"I hate you." Her voice sounded so final.

"Arn~, no, you hate the Atobe Keigo, the rich handsome and talented heir to the Atobe Industries."

She looked at him confused.

"However, loves me." He said softly.

She blushed.

"I have no idea what you are talking about Atobe." She looked straight ahead of her.

"Yes you do." He replied bluntly.

"No idea."

"You know what I am talking about."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"No need to be scared." He said, now standing in front of her.

His eyes were staring deeply into her eyes. , looked down at her feet. She was unable to take Atobe's intense gaze.

"I love you too you know." He said softly.

blushed as she felt Atobe's slender finger pull her chin up to look at him.

"I hate you." She muttered.

"No, you hate the Atobe Keigo everybody else sees me as. But you love the real me." He whispered, his face getting closer to hers.

"What makes you so sure Ore-sama?"

"Well, you always have that look in your eyes when I get hurt, and are the first to ask me if I am alright. Other girls just run up to me and use my pain as an excuse to touch me. You always have that gentle and shy touch when you are fixing up my bruises and cuts. Other girls would just be rough and find any excuse possible to touch or see more of me. You always notice when something is off with me, other girls wouldn't even bother."

Silence.

"Atobe I…mnmmnmm!"

Atobe cupped 's face with one hand while the other found itself circling around her slender waist.

This kiss was longer then the first.

"Atobe! What the hell do you think you are doing!?" screamed out of breath.

"You've given me your love, because you love me, and not the outer shell of Atobe Keigo. You love the real me." He whispered into her ear.

felt shivers go down her spine as she found her arms encircling Atobe's welt built torso.

"Keigo-baka. I hate you!" she cried into his chest.

"Arn~?" he smirked.

"So you don't want me to kiss you anymore?" he asked in a teasing tone.

looked up and glared at him, both still holding the other in their arms.

"Atobe Keigo, you better kiss me! And it better be a good kiss! Not to mention from this day forward if I ever catch your lips on another person who is not me I will castrate you!"

Atobe smiled, not a smirk, not an arrogant smirk, but just a smile.

"But if you castrate me, how are we going to make Atobe babies?" he questioned.

blushed.

"You're such a pervert." She buried her face into his chest.

"Arn~, is -chan a little shy about baby making?" he asked.

There was no answer.

Atobe gave off a soft chuckle before pulling her face from his chest and crashed his lips onto hers.

It was a mind blowing kiss.

It was a memorable kiss.

It was an innocent kiss.

It was a passionate kiss.

It was a kiss full of love.

"I…love you too Keigo." Her voice was soft.

But he heard her, and he smiled.

Let's get started ready steady go!

Their hands were intertwined; it wasn't soon after Atobe found himself being lectured by his girlfriend's uncle on how to treat her.

It was the beginning of something that would never end.

They were ready, they were steady.

They were ready to take a brand new step, they were ready to go.
