‘Where is he…?’
sighed frustratingly, clutching a bento box to her bosom and looking around the halls for one Atobe Keigo. Her school bag hung across her body, bumping against her hip when she ran. Ayaka had commented that her bento looked bigger than usual, and proclaimed it was because she was feeling extra hungry. The truth was, she wanted to thank Atobe Keigo for driving her home yesterday, and as a result got up early to make a bento for him.
Sakaki-sensei wanted her to go through the details of the exhibition match with him, so that was her excuse. Now all she had to do was find him.

“Atobe? Doesn’t he usually eat lunch in the lounge?” Oshitari muttered, scratching his chin. nodded, bowing to the blue-haired tensai.
“Thank you for telling me! I’ll check now!” She said, before rushing off. The bento box was still clutched close to her chest, and a tint of pink appeared on her face as she neared the door to the lounge. Punching in the security code, opened the door to slip inside.
Atobe Keigo was sitting on the couch, typing on his laptop with Kabaji right beside him. breathed a sigh of relief, closing the door behind her. He looked up, his eyes piercing through her as she blushed.
“-san? Can ore-sama help you?”
Taking a deep breath of air, closed her eyes and shoved the bento box at him.
“This is for you! Thank you for taking me home yesterday!” She exclaimed, a blush flitting across her cheeks. It took a few seconds until felt the bento box slip from her hands and she peeked an eye open to see Atobe sit back on the couch, untying the cloth that held the bento. Gulping, shuffled over, sitting on the seat across from him.
When Atobe took the first bite of the bento, squeezed her eyes shut to hear the insult directed at her cooking.
“It’s definitely not as good as ore-sama’s chef’s.” He said.
Tears threatened to fall down her face. She knew it.
“But for some reason, ore-sama can’t help but love it.”
Eyes widening, she lifted her head to gaze into Atobe’s eyes, and he was smirking. He placed the bento down, making a waving gesture to signal Kabaji out of the room. Once the larger tennis player closed the door, Atobe pushed the things on the coffee table to the side, leaning over it to get right into ’s face.
“Ore-sama must ask… is -chan coming to ore-sama’s Halloween Party?”
Too shocked to say anything about the sudden difference in addressing her, could do nothing but nod dumbly. Atobe’s smirk grew wider.
“Excellent. Ore-sama will look forward to seeing you there.”
Once he said that, Kabaji came back into the room and Atobe continued eating the bento. Face flaming, quietly excused herself.

The door to the lounge closed, silently, and leaned herself on it, sliding down to sit on the floor. Covering her face with her hands, bent over to shield the absolute red blush on her face.
Hands and feet shaking, the girl shakily got up and tottered her way to sit under a tree, grabbing her sketchbook and continuing to draw her Halloween outfit.
“Definitely…” She murmured to herself. “I will definitely have the best Halloween costume at the Masquerade!”

“Atobe… just what is that girl to you?” Oshitari asked; face sweating as he cocked an eyebrow at his tennis captain. The heir to the Atobe family smirked, lying down on the couch as he covered his eyes with his hand. Kabaji was standing obediently behind the couch, looking as emotionless as always.
“Arn~? Why the question all of a sudden, Oshitari?” Atobe asked, taking his hand off his eyes to look at the Kansai-speaking Japanese.
“Just curious.” He mumbled, crossing his arms. Atobe chuckled.
“-chan has caught Ore-sama’s interest. That is all you need to know.” He said, before sitting up. Oshitari raised an eyebrow.
“Since when has she caught your interest?”
Atobe smiled mysteriously, grabbing his school bag to head out of the room.
