“A-ah… Oshitari Yuushi-senpai?”

“Hai.”

“Atobe Keigo-senpai?”

There was no reply.

“Atobe-senpai?”

looked around the tennis courts, blinking and wondering why Atobe Keigo; the tennis captain wasn’t there. She had been doing attendance, and he was the last person on her list. It baffled her that he wasn’t here. He was usually here earlier then she was.

Pursing her lips, flipped through the pages and instructed everyone on what to do as she made her way over to Coach Sakaki.

“Sakaki-sensei? Ano… Atobe-senpai and Kabaji-senpai aren’t here.” said, blushing and looking down to bow her head in respect. Sakaki was sitting on a chair, nursing a drink before nodding at her.

“Very well. I will watch over the club for now. Please go find him, -chan.” Taking the clipboard from her, blushed and hurried off, closing the fence door to the tennis courts and jogging off to try and find the King of Hyotei.

“A-Atobe-senpai! Kabaji-senpai!”

had found them. Atobe was lying under a tree, napping as Kabaji sat beside him with the normal stony expression. Blushing, quickly jogged towards them, bowing to Kabaji as she neared.

“Kabaji-senpai, tennis practice has started. Sakaki-sensei sent me to look for you.” She told him, before sneaking a peek at Atobe. “Eto… we have to wake Atobe-senpai up. He is the captain of the club. It is imperative that he be at practice.” Kabaji nodded.

“Usu.”

Nodding her head, knelt beside Atobe, wondering how on Earth she was going to wake him up. She tried calling his name softly.

“A-Atobe-senpai? Atobe-senpai, please wake up. Tennis practice started already.” She said, but he only stirred slightly in his sleep. Huffing, touched his shoulder, shaking him lightly. “Atobe-senpai? Atobe-senpai, you need to get up.” She said.

“Hai, hai.” backed away as he got up, rubbing his eyes. Atobe dusted his jacket and pants off, before looking at and jerking his head in the direction of the tennis courts. “Let’s go.” , blushing, nodded and scrambled to get up, following him as he made his way over to practice.

sighed, chewing her bottom lip as her sketchbook was propped up on her upper legs. She was sitting on a bench, the bottoms of her feet pressing against the edge of the bench as she twirled a pencil in her hand. Clad in a pair of jeans and a simple top, was at the park near Hyotei, where the tennis courts were.

Next to her, a cute ring tone filtered out of her cell phone, and she grabbed it and flipped it open, pressing it to her ear.

“Moshi moshi?” She answered, half-concentrating on her sketch as Coach Sakaki’s voice came from the speaker.

-chan, I need you to check and see if the regular’s lounge is locked. I left earlier than usual today, and there were still people in there. I want to make sure someone locked it after they left.” He said. set down her pencil, throwing her stuff in her bag.

“Hai, Sakaki-sensei.” She answered. The teacher bid her goodbye, and they both hung up. Closing her school bag, grabbed it and stuffed her cell in her pocket, making her way to the lounge for the regulars. She sighed tiredly as she made her way over there, rubbing the back of her neck.

Ever since joining the tennis club as their manager, found her time had been taken up quite a bit. Sakaki often had her do extra things for the club, and she constantly had to arrange things like games and call schools about exhibition matches. Not to mention, needed to make sure she had something to wear for the MHP that was coming up in a few weeks.

Seeing the school up ahead, picked up her pace and jogged towards the lounge. It was a comfortable place, filled with couches and coffee machines. There was a desk there, and often liked going into the lounge to finish homework or work on something. She tended to avoid it when the tennis regulars were using it though; it made her feel as though she was intruding.

stopped in front of the door, grabbing the doorknob to twist it to the side. It opened, and peeked inside.

“Ano… is anyone here?” asked, not seeing anyone. Shrugging, the girl closed the door, punching in a few digits into the security system at the side of the door. Pressing the enter button to lock the door, sighed in relief and turned around to head back outside.

She just never expected to bump into Atobe Keigo.

“Kyaa!” squeaked, slamming into his chest and falling backwards. A strong hand gripped her wrist, pulling her back up. Unprepared for that, ’s weight ended up switching to fall frontward, and ended up colliding into the tennis captain, both of them falling to the floor with an ‘oof’.

A few seconds passed as caught to regain her breath, her head lying on Atobe’s chest as she gulped.

“Oi. You can get off now.” Atobe said. Squeaking once more, scrambled to her feet, bowing low to the only child of the Atobe family.

“S-s-sumimasen!” She stuttered, keeping her head bowed. Atobe stood, dusting off his pants and shirt, grumbling slightly. He was still wearing his school uniform, noted. “Ano… were you still using the lounge?” She asked, and he scoffed, his school bag slung over his shoulder. Kabaji wasn’t hulking behind him like usual, which she found strange.

“Ore-sama was just finished, and ore-sama was going to lock the door when you did it for ore-sama.” He said. blushed, nodding. There were a few moments of awkward silence, with tightening her grip on her bag and trying not to think about that fact she was with THE Atobe Keigo, alone. Oh, Ayaka was going to have a field day!

“W-well then, I’ll be leaving now.” stuttered, bowing to the captain of the tennis team before scuffling away, her grip still abnormally tight on the handle of her school bag. She thought she heard a sigh coming from behind her, when Atobe suddenly spoke up, stopping her in her tracks.

“You live quite far from Hyotei; do you not, -san?” He asked. , not trusting her voice to reply steadily, just nodded slowly, refusing to turn to face him. Atobe ran a hand through his hair. “Ore-sama will take you home in ore-sama’s limo. It is unsafe for a young lady to walk home at this time.” blushed, hoping this wasn’t a dream and that she was really living her fantasy.

“I-if it’s not too much trouble…” She murmured, trailing off. In actuality, she would love nothing more than to ride in Atobe Keigo’s limo, with him, but she also didn’t want to be a burden. Atobe bowed, offering his hand to .

“I would be honoured to escort you back to your home.” He said. squeaked and blushed, before taking his hand and allowing him to lead her to the limo waiting for them in the Hyotei School Parking Lot.
