According to AnimeNewsNetwork, a new Prince of Tennis manga will begin on the April issue of Jump Square magazine. Konomi reportedly mentions that the whole PoT series is actually a (super long-ass) prologue and that “a new legend for [the main character] Ryoma and the others will begin.” Dude, that’s nine years of prologue we’re talking about, does that mean we should expect something like 18 years for the main story? D:

What do you guys think? I hope it’s set in high school this time! It will be great to see our boys a bit more grown up. I suspect there will be lots of new characters (a given, of course) and perhaps some character shuffles. BUT! If the setting really is in high school, that means Hyoutei will still be Hyoutei (because it’s an escalator [Did I just say "elevator" school?! XDDD] school) but there might be no more Seigaku. D:

Do you want the Seigaku boys to stay together, or would you rather see them in different teams as adversaries this time? Among the more minor characters in PoT, who would you want to see as part of the main team, in case there really is a character reshuffling going on.
